A 21 page resource package covering the content of the BTEC Level 3 Unit 4 Current Research in Health and Social Care, Learning Aim B4. Research Skills. It’s on Word and can be altered or added to, to suit your teaching and is page numbered from the previous booklets for this unit, also on TES. There is one PowerPoint to accompany this and activities and tasks with places for students to make notes throughout. This is a continuation from the previous booklet spec sections I have produced with page numbers to reflect this. BTEC Tech Award Level 1/2 Health and Social Care Component 1 (2022 spec)- a complete teaching package to pick-up and run with. This covers what the content for B1. Life Events; Health & Wellbeing and B2. Support that goes with the life events and the characteristic trait self-esteem and outlook If you are following my SoW 2024-2025, this is Week 14, this now relates to PSA Task 3a (Life Event PIES) and 3b (Support) . There are homework tasks for both Level 1 and Level 2 which are adaptable to suit your need eg.date There are activities aimed at building up student notes to have with them in the PSA and capture understanding and can be referred to whilst students complete the PSA Controlled Assessment. There is the continued literacy support with useful vocabulary, again and a case study example PIES. There’s a 39 slide presentation introducing life events to get students thinking to start with. All the spec content relates to Life Event impacting on a person experiencing a point from the Health & Wellbeing category and suitable support. There is also points that guides students to considers personality impacting on coping strategies. This detail is included in the 40 slide presentation which has pause points for student contribution and breaks to complete their notes table which they can refer to in the actual PSA. There is homework worksheets for both Level 1 and Level 2 learners. BTEC Tech Award Level 1/2 Health and Social Care Component 1 ( 2022 spec)- a complete teaching package to pick-up and run with. This covers what the content for A2.Environmental Factors If you are following my SoW 2024-2025, this is Week 12, this now relates to PSA Task 2. There are homework tasks for both Level 1 and Level 2 which are adaptable to suit your need eg.date There are activities aimed at building up student notes to have with them in the PSA and capture understanding and can be referred to whilst students complete the PSA Controlled Assessment Task 2. All the spec content relates to PIES development in a 29 slide presentation which has pause points for student contribution and breaks to complete set tasks in pairs or as individuals. The package covers the complete content for the part of the spec A2.Environmental factors. There is a comparison task for students notes and reference relating to the one factor in two different life stages as per the assessment criteria for Task 2. To finish there is a Mock Task 2 practice assessment to prepare students for their actual controlled assessment PSA. The content covered is:- Environmental factors: • housing needs, conditions, location • home environment – living with a high level of parental conflict, experiences of abuse and neglect • exposure to pollution – air, noise and light All the resources are in a format you can adapt to suit your need.
